With an advanced line of healthcare services including comprehensive orthopedic,
digestive health, cardiac care, women's and child care, emergency care and diagnostic
care, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center is the first all-private room acute care
community hospital in Northeast Wisconsin. It was founded in 1900 to nurse the sick
and poor of the community as well as establish a mission for unwed mothers and their
orphaned babies. Today, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center lives that mission bringing
about a caring and compassionate environment in delivering patient care services
in our community.
Of Green Bay's hospitals, St. Mary's is the only one located on the west side, near
HWY 41 on Shawano Avenue. We serve a population of over 100,000 with a primary service
area of western Brown County, Oconto County, southern Marinette County and northeastern
Outagamie County.
